ELIZABETH O'GRADY

Marketing Coordinator, ROM

Elizabeth O’Grady has over ten years’ experience in marketing and communications. 

 

Her experience spans grassroots organizations, startups, not-for-profits and multinational corporations, in industries ranging from software to education to arts to professional services. She has worked in B2B and B2C organizations, both client-side and in service delivery. 

 

In her current position as a Marketing Coordinator at Toronto's Royal Ontario Museum, Elizabeth’s responsibilities include developing and implementing paid media campaigns for exhibitions and events, managing creative development and production, copywriting, ecommunications, web content, digital marketing and SEM, and brand management. She has also coordinated internal and external research projects, photoshoots and promotional videos. One of her favourite projects was the internal coordination of a campaign which put an augmented reality dinosaur into transit shelter ads.  

 

Elizabeth holds a B.A in Art History from McGill University and an M.A. in Museum Studies from the University of Montreal. While working full-time, she earned her Certified Marketing Specialist designation from the Canadian Marketing Association, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Relations from Ryerson University

 

She has lived and/or worked in Berlin, Tokyo, London, Paris, Ottawa, Montreal and China.
